A gold shop is not a normal shop. Stock is counted in grams per karat, the price changes every day, and the making charge must stay apart from the value of the gold.
Every piece by karat and weight
- A tag code for every piece, its karat, gross weight and stones, with the net gold weight by formula.
- The making charge per gram and the value of the stones.
- Stock by karat and by weight, not only by count.
The day's price and the sale
Enter the selling and buying gram price for each karat every morning, and each sale prices the piece by its net weight at that day's rate plus making charge and stones, with tax.
Scrap gold and exchange
Scrap gold bought from customers at the buying rate with their identity recorded, alone or as an exchange deducted from a new sale.
Your data stays with you
Bawabetna's program runs on the shop's own computers with the records encrypted with you, separate permissions for the owner, sales staff and the accountant, and it works without internet. You can import your data from your previous software and try the program free for the first month before subscribing.
Questions?
Which computers does it run on?
The programs run on Windows computers. With several computers, one keeps the office's encrypted vault and the others connect to it over your local network.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Booking, records, invoicing and printing keep working offline. Whatever needs to be sent is sent when the connection returns.
Where are my records kept?
In an encrypted vault on your own computer. Bawabetna does not host your full working records.
Who decides what is shared about a client?
The client. Clients manage their own consent from their own app; a professional never decides on their behalf.
Can I move my data from my current software?
Yes. Client lists and records can be imported from Excel or CSV files, with a preview before importing and the option to undo.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, the first month of every program is free, with all features and no card. Your data is saved on your device during the month; after 30 days without a subscription the program becomes read-only, and your data stays and you carry on as soon as you subscribe.
Which languages does it support?
Every program and this website work in 16 languages: Arabic, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (simplified and traditional). You can switch at any time.
